Dear Derek

I am writing to express my appreciation in the way you have helped me to set up my business.
I have been interested in purchasing or investing this type of business for some time now. I came across your advert in the Daltons Weekly and have never looked back since. You have supported all the way from day one.
I was hesitant to be part of a franchise however the level of support and time you have invested in me and my business I have nothing but praise for you. Pressing Matters is a great concept and I look forward to building the business and name alongside you.
I know you have put a lot of time and effort into me. For the level of investment Pressing Matters requires I feel it is well worth money spent. I know that whenever I need you, you are just at the end of a telephone line. It is unbelievable how much you have put in for me from training on accounts, adverts for outworkers, launch adverts, training us with the method, all my consumables for the initial set up period, contact drycleaners, initial interviews for outworkers, all my price lists and endless advise.
What can I say besides thank you for having confidence in me and giving us the opportunity to join in your family business.
Thank you. Alpa. Hemel Hempstead. December 2007

Introducing Derek and Eileen Snow of Pressing Matters Warrington. They joined in June 2004 after their photograph processing business failed due to the advent of digital photography (how many of you are culprits?). “If you imagine someone inventing a fabric that did not need any ironing at all, and suddenly all clothing and bedding was made from it, and what would happen to your business, well that’s how it felt”, says Derek. They have been married for nearly 40 years and were looking forward to retirement but had to consider how to make a living. Eileen is disabled and cannot work away from home and she thought that she could add to the family budget by doing a bit of ironing for neighbours and friends. Derek thought this was too good an opportunity to miss and through the Internet found Pressing Matters and got on so well with Derek (Bosson) that they decided to make it their business to see them into retirement. “I never thought I would make a living from ironing” says Eileen, but before her illness, she was a very busy career woman and ironing was the one thing she would have loved to unload. How many women were in a similar situation? It also seemed a good thing to be able to offer a source of income to other people who were unable to work away from home – young mums with children and disabled people could benefit as well. They are now doing very well even after less than a year and are looking forward to the future. “Pressing Matters offered us a lifeline which we grabbed with both hands and we will be forever grateful to Derek and his team for the opportunity to build a business quickly”.

Vinny Mulready – Salford, Manchester

After working in industry for 25 years, I was made redundant at the age of 40. I had to re-think my career, I decided to make something of my life and used my redundancy money to purchase a Pressing Matters franchise, at first the hours were long, and it was hard work, now I have established myself and enjoying the benefits, I am supporting the local community by employing outreach workers, and I also sponsor the local football team.

Paul & Yvonne – Lancashire

We never realised how easy it was to own our own business. For a small amount of our savings, we operate our Pressing Matters franchise from our terraced house. Pressing Matters has given us total support and by following their advice our future is now assured.

We would recommend this franchise – wholeheartedly.
